Breeding of labradoodle results from the combination of the U.S No 1 (Labrador retriever) and No. 6 (poodle). There are 2 major types of Labradoodles, these are:

  1. Australian labradoodle

This is a unique hybrid breed that differs from the other British Labradoodles. It is a standard-bred dog, and it has 1-4 more breeds than the common Labrador breeds. It is a cross between poodle 2 sizes – standard poodle, miniature poodle, Labrador, American cocker spaniel, English cocker spaniel, Irish water spaniel, and curly coat retriever.   1. American Labradoodle

American Labradoodle breed results from a cross between the Labrador retriever and the poodle. It is not purely bred. American Labradoodles are common among breeders of multigenerational crosses.
