Everyone would love to have their pet with them at their wedding. Weddings are special occasions that every loved one and significant person in your life should attend, and our favourite canines are not an exception. Since dogs are family, no wedding you hold will be complete without them by your side. But how many venues in Singapore will allow you to have your dogs at the event? Here is a list of wedding venues that are dog-friendly and make for awesome wedding locations for your special day.

Alkaff Mansion Ristorante

This alternate location for a wedding is a beautiful area, perfect for an outdoor wedding. You are required to contact the wedding team at Alkaff Mansion Ristorante if you want to include your dog in your wedding ceremony, and you can discuss ideas with them as to how make the occasion more beautiful. Dogs are allowed only in the lawn area, and a dog handler has to be with your dog(s) at all times.

Capella

Capella Singapore is one of four hotels that provides staycations for dogs in Singapore. Capella allows pets to be a part of your wedding free of charge, as long as you inform the wedding team at Capella beforehand so that they can make their arrangements to include your pets. Capella provides amenities for dogs on request, allowing all pets of small to medium size; and they can be taken everywhere on the premises except for some certain outlets and the cascading pools.

Fabrika

This cool rooftop location boasts awesome views and is properly shaded, giving you and your guests respite from Singapore’s hot sun. Fabrika is the perfect venue for you to take your dogs, as they are allowed to run around free during your wedding ceremony.

Four Seasons

Though cleaning fees may apply, dogs, especially small ones of 7kg and less, are allowed at the Four Seasons free of charge. Amenities, such as rooms and bowls, are provided if your dogs have to stay the night, and dogs are to be leashed in public areas and are not allowed in F&B outlets. The Four Seasons hotel also requires you to contact them if you want to include your dog in the wedding ceremony.

Hotel Fort Canning

At the Hotel Fort Canning, dogs are included in your wedding when you consult their wedding planning committee. There is a special entrance to the solemnization venue for the dogs to go through, and they are taken away once the solemnization ceremony ends. Finished in 1926, Hotel Fort Canning was originally the administrative building of the British military’s Far East Command headquarters. This heritage-edifice was then restored and turned into the award-winning hotel that is known today, and it is the ideal place to have a wedding that includes your dogs. For a fee, Hotel Fort Canning can help you and your spouse with your pet transportation arrangements.

One Rochester

One Rochester is a gorgeous venue, perfect for a garden-themed wedding due to its lush garden and colonial elegance. It is also a dog-friendly place, and your dogs would make a lovely picture when included in your wedding at this location. The helpful wedding team can even throw in suggestions on how your dog can take part in the ceremony as a ring bearer or a flower girl.

Open Farm Community

This is an outdoors-only, pet-friendly location that caters to families and their pets, featuring cuisine that is prepared using local produce, so as to encourage local farming activities. It is a lovely place that is right for a simple, elegant, outdoor wedding, and your dogs are welcome to do the wedding march and run around when they are done.

Tanjong Beach Club

Tanjong Beach Club already has a reputation as one of the few public places that are pet-friendly in Singapore, and it isn’t a dog park. This setting is perfect for a beach wedding, and it would be the perfect venue for your wedding if you want your dogs to be part of it.

The Regent

This high-end hotel is a beautiful wedding location, and they also allow dogs to attend them. They allow pets in public areas and in guest rooms (this does not include service animals), but they will gladly make an exception if you want your dog to do the wedding march with you. The only condition is that you, or someone else, has to hold the dog, and your pets can’t stay in the function area without human supervision. If you need a dog-sitter, you can make arrangements with the hotel concierge beforehand. If you need rooms for your dogs, you can make arrangements, and the Regent will provide rooms with beds and bowls for them. You should note that dogs heavier than 7kg attract additional charges, and the dogs have to be litter-trained.

These venues are some of the places you can go to if you want a wedding with your entire family present, including your canine family. Some of them may be pricey, and some may have stringent rules about keeping your dogs leashed or having to carry them around, or where the dogs can and cannot go: but once you have all these rules in mind, and you arrange with the in house wedding planning committees beforehand, you will have the wedding of your dreams, your best friends in tow.
